Technically opus romano refers to a technique of laying different sized rectangular
tiles to fit a given area. Bisazza have adopted the name for their range of solid
colour tiles, 12mm square by 6mm deep. There are wonderful deep full colours,
almost comparable to smalti, highly durable yet suprisingly easy to cut with
wheeled nippers. We sell them by the half kilo (about 280 tiles), the quarter kilo
(about 140 tiles) or the 100g packet (about 50 tiles).
